General Investment Discussion » Weird, doesnt it seem like so many CEO's move? Weird, doesnt it seem like so many CEO's move? |
|
| Just out of curiosity but to me it seems that many of the CEO's move a little after they sell out there shares. I just seem to hear a lot of talk about moving, or going out of town for weeks at a time, or trips... It justs feels funny to me how often this happens. I really am not sure it means anything there is just no way to trust many people today you know...Oh well lets see what happens I guess | ||

SL Tronics Media » What is up with the price? What is up with the price? |
|
| I have a lot of money invested in this stock, what happened to the price? Stop selling so low. If those of you would hold on to your stocks and set the prices up where they should be it would help out the stock to get back to its old price.... | ||

General Investment Discussion » I dont get it...IPO's then selling????? I dont get it...IPO's then selling????? |
|
| Why do people purchase IPO stocks at 1L, then only days later maybe even hours later sell those stocks for less than 1L. It makes no sense and in no way reflects stocks in real life. NO ONE would spend thousands of dollars on a stock and then the next sell that stock for about 1k less. WHY do people do this and mess up the potential for gains...If anyone has some insight I would appreciate it. | ||

| I do agree with part of Xavier's statement "Frequently, people invest in large or slow-moving IPOs that may stagnate for weeks or months" However, LCA was completed in what? A few days? One day? Not even a few days later the stock has been purchased for as low as .85L a share. There should be no real movement on the stock in a few days but thats down 15%. Going to what you stated about taking advantage of those situations, I have, and do frequently. It is frustrating though how the stocks on SLCAPEX can sometimes flux randomly. I am not sure what can be done to stop this but I think some measures need to be taken. I myself have personally seen gains of 300% in 12 hours. When JTIC first released its bonds and there was no 50% rule where the stock shuts down I purchased I believe 27,500 stocks. I then set them for sale at 3L a piece thinking that no way would someone buy them at that price. A few hours later I logged in to see that someone had in fact done that. If you dont believe me check JTIC trading records, you'll see a day where the high was 3 dollars. That was me! Now back to point, even though they have made it impossible for the price to flux that much in a day now there are no minimums. Which I think is ridiculous. People will complain of the "small investor" but even my account is small in USD even though it is quite large in $L. I only have about $500 USD invested in this thing. But I digress, I think minimums should be set into place to keep small trades that FALSELY fluctuate the market price out. No trades for 20 shares that can change a price .50L and make it look as though the share price has dramatically increased. As far as it goes for share prices, I think companies should be set to a standard on company value before setting the IPO price. If a company is not worth 1L a share they should be able to sell that share for more than that to keep from huge losses the first few weeks. Well thats my eight dollars and some change...What do you think? |

| Quote "I would at least urge the CEO's to make this information available by posting a sticky thread with a simple representation of the true share value of their company in their own forum so that it is easy accessible for those whom are interested but less experienced." I like that Idea If you are buying 10% of a company, you buy 100,000L at 1l a share of the company but its only worth .75L a share. The price drops to reflect the actual price and it goes to .75L a share. You have now lost 25% of your investment. If a company that is worth .75 a share sells there shares at .75L a share then you will have more shares but the value will be correct... Am I right? Or do I just not get it? Actually I am wrong and I see it now, if they have to sell more shares then the value per share would actually decrease so that would defeat the point...Ok I get it now. But I still think that each company posting what the actual share price value is should be put into place to keep unnecessary price fluctuations away! |

L&L Credit Reporting Agency and Business Services » How about a stock buyback? How about a stock buyback? |
|
| I think the price has dropped in this stock to a point that it only makes since for the company to capitalize on the opportunity and buyback their some shares. Not only would it increase the price of the share but reduce the amount being traded and at the same time the company could profit buy quickly re buying shares at a 80-85% of their sale value. Just an idea since Ive spent all i have and can no longer buy up these cheap shares... | ||
