JT Financials Discussion » Obopay Feature
Re: Obopay Feature
I went ahead and sign up. And i send the cash, and received my credit accordingly. So far, so good.

Now, how do I use Obopay to add cash to my account? I talk to the guy at the other end of the number I used to start the account, and was led to believe that that is the only for the bonuses. I'm not going to keep buying lindens at 250/USD. I can get a better deal thru SL.

I'm not trying to be smart about, I truely need to know how the process works after I have gotten the account, and where to forward my CASH to.

Thanks for anyones help.

OK......

Do we use the same number as we did when we started the account?

And how long does it take before it's added to my account here?

What are the limits to the deposits, and the amount of currency traded?

I'm sure I'll have more questions....just can't think of them right now.

Re: Worrying statistic, coincidence or just plain troubling? SEC Involvement in
Just curious.....I'm new here, and not really sure where linden labs are located, but within theory, if they ever pull the plug on the grid, and shut it down, then could it be possible that it never really existed in the first place?

And being a virtual world, doesn't SL exist in all countries which can connect to a internet? And if so, what country has claim of a ruling factor within the virtual one? And by who's laws do they lay rights of passage?

And while I'm on a roll, which did come first, the chicken or the egg?

Well, I took a look at your financials, and have a couple of questions.

The land sales and stock and investments sale listed as other income....Is this the profit from these sales, or just the total sales?

Thanks.

General Investment Discussion » For CEO's with companies on the exchange.
Re: For CEO's with companies on the exchange.
That concerns me little, too. Here's and ideal that might help you out.

I think you, as well as the CEO's, are responsible to the investors if you have trouble getting in contact with CEOs of certain companies. And I believe you have a responsibility to provide a list of CEO's who decide that communication between themselves and this board is not important enough to warrant their reply.

So what I would like to see is one of two things. Either provide a list of CEO's who have responded promptly, and the companies they are with.

Or provide a list of those who don't.

Personally, I would like to see a list of those who did respond, so I know who are more tenitive to the shareholders; a major factor needed when considering whom to invest into.

Thanks.

Re: For CEO's with companies on the exchange.
Lindsay.

I'm a rather new investor, with less than 2 weeks in total with SL.

I was not here when most of the investors had there problems with Allen.

However, I'm dealing with this because it totally affect the entire board, which means every investor here.

Communication is key to investing. Those not willing to communicate with the officials of the board are a risk I'm NOT willing to take. And I'm sure you have your reasons, and they may be valid. And believe me when I say, as a investor, I don't care for excuses. I want results. With all that has happen, I think everyone is tired of excuses.

So I ask for that list. The list shows me two things. Those who take investors seriously, and those who don't. Like I said, I want results, and I'm already tired of those who refuse to communicate with this board.

Now this is just me, and I only speak for myself. If your not happy about the reply I left, go ahead and send me a email.

Re: For CEO's with companies on the exchange.
Thanks your for your input. The fact that she goes beyond her duty's to inform people about current affairs means very little to me. She got the notecard, couldn't open it, and said nothing. She could have shot him a email, explaining what happen, and ask for the info.

But she didn't. Instead, she decided to complain about it after a list was posted. Being a CEO of a corporation, even a fictional one, should have meant that she find out what the exchange she is trading on wanted, even if it is something as trivial as this.

But like she said, she got side-tracted. If your going to play CEO, don't expect excuses like "we're only human" be accepted. I expect more from a CEO....that's why they are CEO.

Again, I only speak for myself.

Re: For CEO's with companies on the exchange.
You know how it's funny how all of the excuses come out when people don't want to communicate with this board.

So I'll make this clear as an investor. A small investor, but still an investor.

If your going to play CEO, stop making excuses. Because here is where the buck stops. As an investor, I expect, no, DEMAND, that you keep in constance communication with this board.

Now, it sounds like to me that even if a mass email was sent out, that some of you wouldn't answer, and come back later, making excuses.

And you are the people I want to know about.

Again, I speak only for myself.
