| Yes I agree this would be a great idea. It would allow smaller businesses to network, trade ideas, and tools, etc. The more important factor is that it would allow small businesses with higher potential to be observed by the larger companies that are looking to increase profits by absorbing smaller businesses into their fold. | ||

| I've got an interesting idea for advertisement that takes full advantage of the metaverse. If you use the web to advertise items in SL instead of stores you can infinitley multiply your sales potential by having the net do all of your advertising for free. A lot of malls offer end cap, gondola, & kiosk space with a limited amount of prims. Usually 5-10. If one of those is simply a hug billboard taking up most of the space with a link to a website in it, then the rest can be tiny little boxes with just a label or one of those goofy click to see the next item displays. The user can click the link, see the items on the store's website, then go back to SL & chose their item. We can make the billboard, the graphics for the website, the interactive flash to advertise the items in unique ways, & piece it all together to give both the customer & the vendor a better shopping & selling experience. The following is an example... So you've spent all of your money making your items? You've only got a limited amount of Linden to actually sell your stuff? That sucks! Well now you setup a free website, & call on us! We'll take what you've got, setup the graphics & flash for everything & now all you have to do is rent a kiosk or a stand for your stuff! There you place your billboard with the link to the site. The user clicks it & they can epxerience all of your items in almost any fashion you'd like to show them & when they see what they like they can simply go back into SL & click a box with a catalogue number or label representing the item. Imagine being able to use a flash dress up doll to mix & match outfits before buying? Imagine seeing video, music, & images showing you the item in use, instead of just a simple demo pose stand or pathetic click to see next image display in SL. Maximum_Exposurez can & will deliver for every client. We will make them everything they need to get their products advertised, both in world & on the web. We can go so far as to make a full on Flash game for a client, or a 360 degree panning video of their clothing on an avatar. We can & we will deliver. Right now though we just need some investors to help us advertise ourselves first. We also need some talented & devoted employees too! | There are so many great, and FREE, place in SL that no one in their right mind would want to spent their hard earned Linden to visit some fancy country club. You'd better have some super elite shops, etc. to keep people interested. And how would you advertise this place? If you have to pay to get in it'd better be damn well worth it! Maybe stage a once a week event to let people in for cheap, & then make them have to pay a tier for all access. I don't know but this just sounds like an unsafe idea! If you pull it off though I'd be glad to work with you on your advertising. This sounds like something right up my prospective company's alley. We could totally help you out with a website. We could do the advertising with video, graphics, animated banners, games etc. Give users a taste of what they could experience there in your sim! | ||

| Wow that's some ambition there! I could totally see the market potential though. You'd have to setup a RL LLC at the very least & offer customers a sense of security when dealing with that LLC. Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in this century & if a user is going to give you their credit card info, their home address, etc. you'd better be some sort of RL company with the legitimacy to assure them that their info as well as their money will be safe. There also has to be a HUGE marketing campaign for such an awesome company. I would gladly get involved on that end. This is one that'll just HAVE TO have a website demonstrating the service, & how it would applyt to SL. You'll need all sorts of Flash, Banners, Animated Banners, etc. to get the customer drawn in. Also the the cost of a model would have to make a profit! So some how you'd just HAVE TO get the customers to pay the price to cover that. I tell you what though... I am VERY interested in seeing where this goes! I'd love to give it a shot & invest in this company! | ||

| I should have gone with my gut on this one. Though I didn't invest much into MNM, I've held investments since it was still an IPO & paid the incredible $5L price for each share. I should have gone with my gut feeling that this "company" was nothing more than a money laundering scheme. based solely on the tidbits that others have posted on this issue, & the accompanying opinions, I too have come to an opinion. Even though I was upset by LL's move to kill in world "banks" and investing, I see now in retrospect that it was one of their best moves yet to protect their users, & to prevent fraud. All I can say now is that this issue has officially reached the level I like to refer to as "re-f***ing-diculous." Therefore I bow out of the MNM issue, cut my losses & say "oh well". I hope those of you (scott & friends) who invested major RL money into this regain at least a portion of your investments. I highly suggest you top 10 investors all pool together & seek legal representation as a group. As for me, I'm done with this nonsense. It's become such a pain that I've lost interest in SL investing all together. So sad. Sorry to Bo, but slcapex need a better way to check up on potential IPO's so shady bastards don't commit fraud & screw the users here. Good luck folks, I'm jumping ship. -Max |

| Um... what's your business plan? Just saying "I sell sneakers & have 8 months of reports to prove success" isn't gonna cut it here. If you want my full investment as well as that of many others here then you'd better put forth a sound business plan. What are the most important things in a starting business? The who, what, where, when, & how. Give us that, or a link to that & we'll start pouring cash into your business. | ||
