Why do I get the impression, having waiting so long for a RL meeting, promises of a responce in 'person', the responce being a 'wait a little longer' reply... everyone seems grateful?

In the time it took to type the responce, the questions could have been answered.

As someone who WAS a Exec Office for MNM SL, signed a NDA, yet was not given a look at the Business Plan, nor the 'vision' for the RL company, fed the same lines as everyone else.. lots of words, no content.

The News that was being broadcasted each week via SLTronics TV's and on the MNM.tv website, was ceased when I resigned. Despite 'urgent' communications requested by the RL Exec team, weeks later, many emails, nothing was offered, just more words but no content.

For some of those that were involved, and still involved, in MNM SL that I have the greatest repect for, I hope it all works in the end. For those here on the SLCapex forums that have issues (me included) with MNM SL, focus solely on Jaison Spade and Cadence, do the same with MNM RL. I can assure you, everyone else are 'virtual mushrooms'.

When I read the TOTAL sum of statements made by the RL and SL management teams, here on the SLCapex forums, why am I left with the same feeling as 'just eaten a Chinese meal'?

The more I read, the less I seem to know, there are no answers, just long drawn out statements, deflecting the questions, ending with 'wait for further information'.

I can only sumise that the Management either don't care about the SL investors/shareholders, think we are all mushrooms, can be treated as though there is a National security issue here.

I got fed up 100% with this sort of treatment when I was a member of the management team, and the SOLE reason I left. Their speeches are akin to Parents talking to children on Christmas Eve.

Don't get me wrong, when I joinned the original team, I 100% believed in the vision, I worked hard to make that happen. What changed? Simple, the vision became blurred and stale after the IPO, seeking assurances and commitment only brought this deflectionary babble. Personally, I got the impression that once the IPO was done, the whole upper management suddenly became refocused and turnned their backs on SL. Despite being responsible for 99% of MNN media production, they failed to keep me updated as to anything other than the type of information you read on these forums.

I have had direct email contact with senior members of the MNM RL team, more Chinese meals. Lots of words, no content. My only involvement now is as a shareholder. I still want answers, but like everyone here, left wanting. Inconsistances in financial reporting are of a major concern, inability to offer financial values for asset worth, expenditures, allowing huge losses in share values without action, unprofessional posts by senior members. Statements made by members, later declared as not being their own expertise, all summerises into a lack of cohesion and professionalism.

The strangest thing of all, is those that were exec officers and major shareholders, and had signed a NDA, were given no more information/bs than you read here on the SLCapex forums. In fact, for most of us, this IS the place to gain at least some information.

For my money, the owners of MNM used SL as a springboard to gain finances and content, to setup the RL business. A showcase if you like, hence why the content has all but now disappeared. To my knowledge, not long after I resigned, the whole editing and news readers team also left.

If you feel badly about how you have been treated, spare a thought for those that have suffered in a vacumn since the IPO firework was exhausted, who are also shareholders, because they put in so much of their time and effort keeping the thing afloat, smiling all the time like nothing was wrong, when in reality, it was falling apart at the seams. For me personally, converting my shares into spendable stuff, given the resources and time spent doing what we did since the kick off last year, would simply equate to being paid the equivilant of a camping chair. For that reason alone, I want MNM to flourish, so that 'camping chair rate' might be more appealing.

The term/reference to a Chinese meal is simple, after eating a lot of it, you feel 30 minutes later, empty. It is the same as listening to the many speeches and forum statements given out by the owners of MNM. They have a knack of saying a lot of words, which mean nothing. Always ending with, be patient, we will answer your question all in good time. Why bother with those statements?

After listening to those statements over and over again, I resigned.

Seems strange the report on 'production Costs', we/I did 99% of MNN production content and never got paid a bean for any of it. To my knowledge the only expenditure for the Newscasts, and that was only after a heated argument, was the purchase of 2 PC microphones for the News Readers. The server is leased, so no up front costs there, came free with Jamola installed. The FLV conversion programme for the website media was a freebie version.
Synergy Island still only contains 2 paying guests, so a heavy liability still going on there. 'Strategic Partnerships' reported, are failing, and in one case, never existed as reported.
News teams, Editors, Production staff all leaving with haste, where does it all stop? Certainly of no concern to the owners, as they barely spend 2 minutes inworld a week.

Statements at the IPO said that SL will ALWAYS be MNM's foundations, its HOME. Looking more like a 'previous address'.

Scott... the reason I resigned is because I don't suffer fools, nor am I quiet when in the presence of them. I asked for information with substance, signed a NDA, but got treated like everyone else, a Mushroom. I like to eat mushrooms, not be treated like one.

The theories about Jamar are unfounded, from my knowledge, Jamar is Cadence's brother, probably why they sound similar. Lets not start wearing tin foil hats here.

I have spoken to him several times, as well as Candence.

I am dissapointed that the the only thing that really flows well from the MNM owners is the word 'soon'. Rather than redefine that word to the population, they should perhaps start using the words 'In the forseeable future' at least that extends the time, 'soon' intimates 'soon', not some distant point in time, 'Foreseeable Future' suggests 'Within the Lifetime of the average investor'.
