// What about a good willing sign of SLW?
/// 2008 // a Virtual World / and its own little problems...
its crazy to see all the time the people that are arngry about missing their money here and the only possible thing is to wait.

// i also could find for myself so many reasons to be angry on this situation.
So, what about a good willing sign from SLW to their Shareholders.
Because i think the new born company there is starting to work and maybe hopefully making profit as well. But this company is maybe mainly owned by the shareholders that had their money before here at an usual account stored to be safe at SLCAPEX.
Right now there were no "real" signs of a right solution,
only some timesaving posts at a forum or so and a shareprice you can follow with being scared as well as the weak US$ since a few weeks if you life in Europe and lose money with this in every case.

// I would say something like a dividend of 0,xx L$ would be good as an little Compensation for all the shareholders, that are waiting and waiting and waiting and have nothing really usuefull in their hand really. And no one of them really knows what happend or where the money of all the accounts is still working some where else, and i hope it works.

// Even if you add all the hours this people spend to read this news or forums or taking part on discussions or or or.... it will be a huge number of hours that no one will pay at the end i think. So this would be something like a fair and friendly solution to get more time for the whole buyback they maybe need.

// Because at the end a virtual world like secondlife gets very small for all the decisionmakers, Companies, Labels, Innovators and SL-gridwide-players, fighting against bad image is getting hard. And what for ??

// If SLW is planning on real strategic targets to push their own company forward on long term periods, they need the trust that a usual bank needs as well at the end. So what happens if maybe there will come a next company, without this bad or unstable image, with the same concept and overruns this without a realy opponent. A lot of people here know that everything could be or is possible here in this megafast world.

// So i think SLW & SLCAPEX should think about something that to earn the trust they promised their shareholders because the company is still on and should make still profit as well as the people, who gave the financial power for this. And i think here counts every L$ as well as for the single user that has only a few of them. I am also a shareholder of this, even if i wanted this or not. And i dont really know now what it will be for at the future and i am too lazy to research myself for it.

// So i think it is not necessary like i do now to write some words and still spend time for something i allready should own. It is deffenetly more necessary to act like a honorable company without trying to hide facts or details.

// Everything here is possible for everyone and everyone should know this.
And there is never only one way of a real solution.

//// thanx for reading this ////
(sry for my bad english) and hope it doesnt take too much time you spendet here to read something that maybe gets lost as a uncountable simple or stupid topic here....

A.K.

I think Arb said back a bit that any dividend would only delay buy backs and until we get the price up to 1.03, there is less desire for dividends over buy backs.

so this means than that mr. Arb will have now an nice "nearly intrest-free-credit" from all shareholders here and this money is still working somehow to make profit? or where is this money ?

Re: // What about a good willing sign of SLW?
Right. They got all the money and will buy back only for a lot lower price. At this moment it seems SLW is sandbagging its shareprice which makes the price even lower so they can buyback for only 55%, a big profit for SLW and all the people who involuntarily got into this mess may bite the dust and lose a large chunk of funds.
I wonder how many shares were created or printed to sell off and collect funds to do 'some' buybacks. Seems there have been huge amounts of sales, which I do not believe can come from outsiders. Trading with insiders knowledge and influencing the shareprice is one of main things going on.

Re: // What about a good willing sign of SLW?
Maybe, but I'm still flabbergasted that we still have people selling so low after 2 months. I would have thought people who can wait and those that cannot would have been sorted out by now and it would sit in the .90+ range as he has done 2 buy backs so far...

You can, in theory, see the largest share holders AND see the outstanding shares at the link:
http://www.slcapex.com/symbol/SLW

So short of him programming things to mess with it, then you have to assume it is on the level OR sell completely and learn from the experience. Yes, taking a loss in the SL stock market game. You could pretend that the loss was a fee to learn or for the entertainment of playing. If you are running a business then I would strongly suggest NOT using banks or stock markets that are not regulated like those found in the game controlled by a company. Reality sucks sometimes.

Nope, I'm not giving anyone advice for business. Not at all. I'm only hoping to discuss what I think I understand and with other people that might correct or follow my logic.

It's hard to follow who you are addressing your question towards and which comment.

Can you be more specific and let's discuss. We are both in the same boat here.
