No April buy back?? Are we going to get one in May?
Just a concerned shareholder... Mr. Wise has also stopped posting the Google ad revenue without comment. Perhaps he could post monthly numbers or is he going to just do it in the monthly statement that has to be posted. He really should let us know of a change like that so we do not get concerned. :-)

Arb: you started a good thing with the two buybacks, the only way to silence everyone is to continue to eliminate the massive float available by buying down the open shares until everyone who wants out can be out and at the price (up to 1.025) that they need.

I'm sorry, I was counting the 2 previous ones as Feb and March. If you look at the price history (which goes back 30 days) it no longer shows the last one. What date was there one in April? The price also hasn't broken .68 in that same time. It was only .68 in the couple of days following the last multi-million buyback that Arb did.

So when was this buy back you speak of?

The beginning of April sometime. It has been fairly consistent. Feel free to ask Arbitrage when the last buyback was; nothing was posted on it and I inquired about why it was not posted.

There was no response.

There's really no option but to sit tight and wait. But yes, there was a buyback at the beginning of April.

The balance sheet helps some but really, since when did money spent on unfinished projects, become an asset when they aren't even owned by the company yet and won't be owned by the company until they are completely paid for. With the limited income to SLW where it can hardly make a dent in the IOU's each month, the likely hood of these projects truely becoming assets, is pretty slim, don't you think? Sheesh

I hate to burst your bubble but no, there was not a buyback of any real size in April. Look at the price history while we can, ALL of April is still there.

There are only 2 days in all of April of volume over 500,000 shares in a day. If we could see back to the last buy back in late March, you see a huge volume and the HIGH price climbs that day and stays up for a couple of days afterwards.

Looking at the 5th of April (the Saturday you mentioned) and NOTHING of significance happened day before, of, or after. So please do not pretend there was a significant buy back in April, especially we we can plainly look and see. Now I'm saying a significant buyback is over a million shares as the first two were almost 3 million each. There was nothing like that in April. I think the site was down April 6h, so are you saying it was done then?

DATE.............................HIGH LOW CLOSE VOLUME
2008-04-07 06:00:01 0.63 0.58 0.62 276,610
2008-04-05 06:00:01 0.65 0.57 0.62 468,341
2008-04-04 06:00:06 0.66 0.61 0.63 355,875

Only high volume days in April:
2008-04-15 06:00:01 0.63 0.58 0.63 650,349
2008-04-10 06:00:02 0.61 0.30 0.59 613,955

Notice the dip on April 10th (obvious sell-off clearing out almost ALL buy orders) was probably one big sell. The one on April 15th seems to just be high volume as the prices didn't move much either way so it was more disciplined buying and selling.

There was a buyback the first days of April. The amount was less than a million shares.
The buy back stopped at share price of 0.89 L.
If i am not mistaken, you wrote about it your self in this thread. 1 april. http://www.slwallet.com/forums/topic/SLW/1699

2008-04-10 06:00:02 0.61
2008-04-08 06:00:06 0.62
2008-04-07 06:00:01 0.63
2008-04-05 06:00:01 0.65
2008-04-04 06:00:06 0.66
2008-04-03 06:00:01 0.66
2008-04-02 06:00:01 0.68
2008-04-01 06:00:01 0.66

You seem either incorrect OR the records are false. Which is it? The highest price during the month is only .68 (as I stated previously) and it followed the last buy back in March by a few days. Still no buyback in April. Anything less that 500,000 is not a buy back in my opinion as then it would take how many YEARS more to buy the 80 million shares? 3 million a month was slow enough. /sigh
